Phil Foden

I know that but still suspect Southgate could become cautious and play Sterling and Rashford either side of Kane. There is absolutely no basis for caution given Foden is performing at a high level in the Champions League.

It means Rashford misses out. I'd have Sterling with Foden and Kane.
Sancho foden Kane

mount behind them

He’s so small, it looks like a strong gust of wind would blow him over, but he seems to just bounce off players when in full flow.
Yes, remind you of anyone?

Love how he tries to stay on his feet, if he goes down he has been fouled no "felt a touch" nonsense, refreshing. Best player on the pitch last night, though I'd have given MOTM to Ruben Dias for sheer commitment.

I agree with almost everything said and I've been waxing lyrical about him just as I was with Grealish earlier in the season when he was the flavour of the month, next gazza etc.

I think it's important to remember the team he's playing in, the roll he carries out in it and the way the rest of the players carry out their roles in tandem. It's a well oiled tactical machine. He offers something within that system that's superb and he's been coached and developed to do so. Similarly to how Grealish as a ball carrier in a team that lacks what City do really shines in that role with those expectations of him.

I think they're both magic, I also think Mount is class. We're lucky to be looking at such a strong England team.

Stones looks decent at the moment.

CM looked precarious but Rice is starting to look like the player I was told but wasn't convinced he was. Bellingham is emerging. Kalvin Phillips is doing it and is highly rated by a manager who demands the absolute highest of standards. Henderson has another 2 tournaments left in him with how he looks after himself.

Sancho, Sterling, Rashford, Grealish, Foden, Mount, Maddison. We've got some cracking players.

Looking forward to the euros now.

No one has mentioned Greenwood
for right sided attacker
I think he is a natural finisher who could possibly force his way into team
Foden left
Kane centre
Greenwood right
Looks like lots of goals to me

so many options, just how will Southgate fail to see the best team...
Its maybe a little ironic that England's/Southgate's problem is choosing from a significant number of creative players - when was the last time that England's strengths were in this area?

I'm excited to see how they will perform in the Euro's, because they have a squad that is amongst the best for sure.
