No nowthen, that was in 1990-91 we played em 5th January 1991 in the FAC 3rd round at AP, 12th January in the league, both games we drew 0-0, I can't recall any player sent off but their keeper got booked in both games, we then beat em 2-1 in the FAC replay after time

Enjoyed that erimus74 mate, cheers for posting the video. Andy Payton.... What a penalty that was. Shilton had time to put his book down, stroll to the corner and get his palm to it. Great defending at 2-1 When their fella rounded Pearsy and ultimately good positioning and clearance by Mohan there too, forgot about that bit.

Less than two years since he had turned out in that WC semi. Strange to think that he is seventy now.
 
Its got a lot sawdust on not sand, enjoyed that, I can see me and kids at 7.56 in the north stand. 1st time Ive watched that, remember their goal poor marking, but not our equaliser . I remember WF scoring but smashing across the ball like that- but mostly the penalty miss, we never make things easy.

That was it, I think I wanted the keeper sent off!!

I was looking at the different company names on the advertising hoardings that aren’t around any longer - Uptons, Lowcock’s, Tudor Crisps, Samson beer (still available but not the same brewery) and even ICI Petrochemicals is no longer in the area.

Some big companies gone.

STARTED ICI Petrochemicals this last week 👍
 
It felt like we pretty much had to win every game at that stage to get promoted. I also seem to remember we won quite a few games 2-1 after going 1-0 down. Culminating at Molineux
