Since he went 'independent' he's produced some thought provoking stuff. I think he's had a massive falling out with someone along the line and knows how the system has worked for a long time.
Just a shame he was willing to go along with it for so long when he was part of the clique (not that one!).
The same goes for all the Mail, Sun & Telegraph hacks who know full-well that they're helping to fuel the rise of the right-wing populists (e.g. Farage) and all the social ills that fall out from that when it isn't analysed critically through 'proper' investigative journalism.
