PETER HODGSON

Beautiful service today, then back to the Rivetside
I knew he was a man of many things, he was always involved in so many things, including projects with the mighty Boro, but it blew my mind what he'd acheived in his life & the lovely words his son, daughter & wife said about him

Feel honoured to a have been a small part of Peters life, who, when he would phone I would spend an hour just saying yes, yes, yes, down the phone

Aparently Peter was part of a team to get standing back at football grounds & is to be successful, along with organising food banks before every home game

You'll be missed mate

RIP Peter

Thank you, it meant a lot to all of us to see so many people there to celebrate his life. It was wonderful to hear so many of you speak so highly of him and the things he did for the club, for the Billingham strollers , for charity and for everything else.

Peter was very nuch involved with the North Korean visit in 2002 and the documentary Dan Gordon directed about the 1966 team and the visit back to Middlesborugh.

I've let Dan know, don't know where he is at the moment.

Peter phoned me must be about a bit more than a month ago asking me if I had any pictures of the Norh Koreans and their kickabout at Synthonia - I do and we got into the loft and dug them all out and they're still in a pile on our living room window sill waiting for him to come round and pick them up ....

Bit of a blow this, to put it mildly.

Condolences to you and yours Jonathan.

Thank you. Thank you for your comments , and yes, we were all caught out by this sudden loss. Do get in touch if you think there is anything I can help with or if you have anything you feel I need to know,
