So we were in the sticky stuff last season and brought Carrick in. We got some good young hungry premier league players in that were keen to impress and it clicked, the team were great, and had the help of a new manager bounce. Once cemented in the play offs we stopped playing. Why??? Why couldn’t the manager get the team playing again? Why didn’t the team perform anything like previously in the play offs?
Since then we lost the better players, and signed far lesser players, albeit with ‘supposed’ potential.
A decent manager would mould a team out of the squad, plug any holes, identify gaps in the opposition.
We have holes all over the team, the manager and assistants can’t plug them, we are seriously disjointed. Can anyone see any improvement?
If only Sir Tony Mowbray was available. Your home town club needs you, desperately!! Does anyone have his number?
