Whats that all about?
At del Amitri in Manchester last night at the Bridgwater Hall , vgood seats CC, almost spoilt by tw*t aged 60+ who insisted on standing up randomly and pointing with both arms or just the occasional single arm to some obscure spot on the ceiling, whilst dancing to a song no one ever danced to when it was originally out.
why do some people insist on advertising that they are having a good time, this includes the ones who laugh loudly all night in pubs too,bah humbug.

My whinge would be to those people who think everyone should hear their music.

Yeah, I hate people enjoying themselves too

What you're meant to moan about, if you've been to see a band, is the people who block your view by trying to film it all on their mobile phones.

I hope he doesn't think he's original, there's thousands standing up in front of people with hands in the air at football matches.

its a lame celebration when footballers point to the sky when they score as well, like its some divine intervention made the put it away.

I lasted 2 songs at a Del Amitri concert before I left. Only pointing I did was to the people next to me to tell them I wanted to get out.

To be fair I'd only gone to see the support band.

To be fair I think sometimes that is in tribute to a loved one who is no longer with them.

Frank Lampard always did it and said it was for his Mum.

But if you want to see Riverdance would you expect people not to tap their feet as well???

In the unlikely event that I went to see Riverdance, I'd have paid a lot of money to see and hear the highly talented people on stage tap their feet, not have all the impressive rhythmic accuracy spoiled by some galumphing out-of-time lout sitting next to me.
