Does anyone know why some people Under 50 years of age without any vulnerabilities are being asked to come forward for a vaccination.
I know of a number of friends and colleagues who are between the age of 40-50 and actually one of his mid 30s who have all been given dates to go for the jab or have had their jab recently.
i’m just trying to understand how it all works as according to the government it is people over 50 who are still being asked to come for a vaccination so why is it that people under 50 are being invited if people over 50 have not yet all been vaccinated.
Also it seems like, using my wife as an example she is early 40s and has been asked to go to one of the same surgeries that most people in Middlesbrough have for her jab, (her doctors is nunthorpe) yet surely there are people over the age of 50 who all going to the same surgery have not yet had the jab. All seems a bit strange.
obvs I’m not peeved to have not been asked yet
