Was just about to link this myself. So sad to see one of your childhood heroes suffering like this. For someone who was such an athlete it must be profoundly depressing to end up in a wheelchair.

Terribly sad. He was kicked and booted of 1966 - disgraceful. Incredible talent, obviously that’s a massive understatement!

The dummy around the keeper and volley from the keepers kick out, two of the greatest none goal moments.

I remember seeing that dummy round the keeper since I was a kid in the 70s, such an incredible feat it's stayed with me ever since, a total one-off, IF ONLY he'd scored too
