22 is really young for a keeper to be playing championship football.
Pears shows great potential and should NOT be sold, loaned out yes, thats just what he needs.
A season or two in league 1 or 2 would do him the world of good.
I think he is a bigger prospect than Spence or Coulson.
Keepers always take longer to come through.
I think Warnock will want a new keeper with Stojanovic as number 2

He only has 12 months left on his contract so can’t loan him out until he sings a new deal

I've said it before and I'll say it again, what was Pears meant to do, once Grabban anticipated and got in front?

The mistake was McNair's in letting Grabban go and stand front of the keeper unchallenged. Pears was hung out to dry by amateur hour basic defending. You give your GK a ring of protection from a corner, there was none
