Payero

Argentina league ends on Oct 30th... he is still our player so why not... there's no harm in having a 2nd look with new ideas and manager in place..

I have a feeling he rather stay in the top league of Argentina with its biggest club than come back to the Championship, he wouldn't perform for us, we might as well get his reputation up over there and see if we can get a bigger transfer fee back.

At the end of the day we need players and he is our player. The best way for his value to be maintained if he does it in a european league for me. Would they be willing to be pay what we paid?

It the season ends 30th oct would he come back here to train or have an off and pre season with them?

They have a round robin cup competition that starts in February.

Effectively another league.

Ability wise I refuse to believe that he could be
any worse than Alex Mowatt. The problem with Payero unfortunately seems to be an issue of not being able to settle here combined with a lack of confidence, and I honestly can't see him overcoming that. For himself I think he's better off where he is, if he has a good season over there he may get interest from Spain or Italy which would probably suit him more. It's sad that it never worked out because he has something about him, it just looked lost out there at times .
