Pay on the night

Wasn't there a campaign a few years ago called '£20 is plenty'? For away fans.

Think we misplaced the memo.

I think that the campaign was focused upon Premier League clubs.

Obviously us dukes, lords and ladies who follow EFL teams could afford tickets by the plenty even if they were six digit number prices.

Blackburn police this morning said we had sold over 4500 on their twitter, so that could be just over or way over. Looking at the various posts on social media about people looking for info about paying on the night, I wouldn't be surprised if over 5500 went.

Have they released an extra 500 for sales tonight? Meaning if we're at 4500 they're gone or does it mean that there'll be 500 available on the gate tonight?

*edit

I might have misunderstood, the club page doesn't mention 500.....

We have sold over 4,000 tickets for Thursday's trip to Blackburn Rovers.

The Lancashire club have confirmed they will be selling on the night from the away supporters ticket office at the Darwen End of the ground.

There is no price increase and payment can be cash or card.
