Actually his name is pronounced Shulk so hopefully “The Incredible Shulk”. This will tell you where he fits in but be quiet about it.

The players linked in the last 2 days don’t fit a 352, more a 433 or 4231.

We don’t seem to be too focused on getting any wingbacks in any time soon which implies we won’t be using them.

Yup.. Edwards has almost exclusively used a back three thought is career.. Viveash the same at Coventry.

Adi coached 4-3-3 at Chelsea tho.

There’ll be plenty of activity behind the scenes which we don’t know about.

We are, unfortunately, a little behind due to sorting a new manager and rubber stamping targets. Ideally, I’d liked us to have signed a couple by now but there’s still plenty of time.

3 players linked yesterday - not all might come off, but the rumblings (and Dom Shaw has been very quiet - usually quick to rule out No Go’s) usually mean some movement is on the horizon.

We’ve been very good at keeping most transfers under wraps in recent seasons until they’re all but done. I’m sure we will see similar this summer as well.

Totally get why people are getting twitchy though. It’s a vitally big window for us!

Whether you think it's all under control or not, with the exception of 2020/21, where the season started a month later and the transfer window started and shut a month later, this is the longest we've ever went without signing a first team player since transfer windows were introduced.

A few of the seasons they barely counted as first team, Curtis Main in 2011 and Mejias in 2020, but it is unusual how little movement there's been given the deficiencies in the squad.

We've not had a manager for a period in plenty of those summers too.

Seen him many times not impressed, thought the lad who went to Ipswich Jacob Greaves was far better but he has struggled (in Prem obviously so would expect him to be better back at championship level this year)
Dont see Jones as any upgrade at all, so we don't need more average defenders, would look to spend a bit more on a bit more quality.
