Patrick Bamford

Makes me feel physically sick thinking on occasions before Gestedes injury Pulis played Bamford left wing so Gestede could be striker. Sums Tony Pulis up.

I'll never forget him starting Gestede ahead of Bamford at Accrington pre-season. That must have been the moment where he thought to himself 'that's it, I'm outta here'.

It's an absolute myth as well that we were forced to sell him because we had too many strikers, as after selling Bamford he then went and brought in Hugill on loan.

I can't believe I'm saying this but in Dyche and Alex Neil's defence they had Bamford at a higher level and he was only a loan player. Should maybe have given him more of a chance but it was understandable not playing him at the time.

Pulis on the other hand had just seen him have an incredible second half of the season, not just in terms of scoring but all round play. And still didn't fancy him. No excuse whatsoever.

I think a lot of people (mistakenly) blamed Bamford for having a bad game at Wembley.
To be fair do we think Warnock would play him?

Has M123 been on yet to reiterate that he is never going to be Prem league standard and he will be available on loan in Jan?

And there were some who tried to tell us he was no great shakes, wouldn't make it in the prem, that Assombolonga was better and pulis was right.
I'd honestly never tire of kicking pulis in the balls over and over again.

Delighted for Patrick. Smashing lad, excellent player and our best striker since Mark Viduka.

I'm pleased for him too, but his last two years with Leeds have been hit and miss, at best. Even Leeds fans would be surprised at this form. See also Pukki at Norwich, first 5 last season

Absolutely sickening, anyone that knows football could see he was going to be a top striker once he was given a run of games.

Couldnt be happier for him though, he has 100% deserved this. One of my favourite players of recent times. Joy to watch in his first loan season here.
