4am to 8:30am.
Four and a half hours of complete and utter fist clenching agony.
Didn't know what it was that was happening at the time...I honestly thought at one stage death might be a better option.
Sweating, shaking, vomiting, bleeding.

Thankfully a Diclofenic suppository supplied by our medtech gave me relief from the excruciating back ache and gut ache in 20 minutes.

Unfortunately it appears once you have one you have a predisposition to them 💀

I hope it's a squillion years before I have another.

Was there a few months back. Luckily I was diagnosed early and given a course of powerful painkillers. With the exception of a night in James Cook after been taken there by ambulance it was a relative non event. Didn't feel the passing of the stone due to the levels of painkillers I was on.

If it’s any consolation to you I had an operation to remove kidney stones 10 years ago and have had no issues since, the only thing I changed was the amount of water I drink each day. I feel your pain I had 5 or 6 episodes prior to being diagnosed with kidney stones and can honestly say it’s the worst pain I have ever experienced. Hope you feel better soon👍

Had em twice. Often come back every 5 years in people. Lots of water and steer clear of nuts.
Pain is unbelievable. I used suppositories. Luckily i was given medication that broke the stone up and passed without actually knowing until the pain ceased.

I had em really bad over the last 10 years.
In my case they were calcium caused by eating too much cheese.
I love pizzas, lasagne and parmesan on my spag bol ,that's the biggest sacrifice.
Subsequent episodes were less painful cos your tubes get stretched, but these stones can be sharp and cause urine infections then you need antibiotics.

I had one 9 years ago… back pain for 2 days until I collapsed at work..,
got home took pain killers went to bed and woke up next morning also thinking death would be easier… wife took me to A and E and they took one look at me and bypassed the queue and said I shouldve been ambulances in..
doctor touched my stomach and vomited all over him…
hospitalised on heavy pain killers and dilation tabs But only lasted one night on ward as it was full of teessides finest EDL types and discussion got a bit beyond the acceptable for a hospital ward….
psssed it 2 days later and the relief was unbelievable…
I was told they’re common after you’ve had none, but not suffered since, I do get panicky when I get back pain though…
