Paramedic - I’m on strike tomorrow

Who are they actually planning on winning votes from? If they were not so ****, I'd say this looks like an inside job (which they have done great at). I would laugh, if things were not so **** for many.
There are still a lot of voters who like the idea of simple 'solutions' to complicated issues.

As long as the Tories continue to pretend that's what they're implementing then they'll still hoover up a lot of votes.

Yup, and it will bite them in the ****, just like it bites the worse off every day.

The more they do it (fall for it), the more of a percentage who fall outside of the Tory earnings catchment, as wealth moves more and more to the rich. The earnings band where it becomes cost-effective to vote for them increases massively every year. People on 100k voting Tory won't even be getting better value by doing it, yet most over 50k probably vote that way (or it would have been that way at the last GE anyway).

I ain't fussed what votes they get (they will always get loads because of the right wing press), but they're going to get absolutely mauled on seats, and their target audience is destined to dislike them more and more, as they become reliant on them more and more and there's nothing there to help them.

Interesting reading but also equally depressing, makes me wonder whether I want to spend the rest of my life living in this broken country.

Yeah public support was really good, ended up attending a few life threatening emergencies and the public seems to have taken note to only ring if really needed, fingers crossed that will continue
Great that you got the support. It doesn't put food on the table, but nice nevertheless.
