I stand by other than the Iraq war (which would have happened with or without him) Blair was the best PM, with the best economic results, and the most together society, we’ve had in my lifetime

I would like leaders to do this BUT, in the eyes of sections of the public, there is no worse political offence than being "preachy".
The response would be "how dare you tell us how we should think/feel".
That's a bit like saying Hitler was Germany's greatest leader, apart from WW2. Cured unemployment, united the nation, etc.

That's very trite.
First, it ignores the Holocaust, book burning, censorship, persecution of homosexuals, and murders of members of his own party to maintain power.
Second, aggressive foreign policy was a key principle of Nazism; war with Iraq was simply a matter of cozying up to Bush for Blair.
Finally, Hitler's reign was proportionally dominated far more by war than Blair's was by Iraq.
I can't exonerate Blair regarding Iraq on the basis of the other things he did, but I do agree with Mart on this.

Blair's time was characterised for me by the general feeling of optimism and new beginnings. I share everyone else's views and feelings about that war, but racism was not tolerated (at least in public). We tumbled into the gutter with Brexit and have kept digging ever since.

It isn't just the evilness of the people in the documentary either Jam .
While Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah had been laying their best plans, Israel had been doing the same, from the pager bombs laying in doggo that wiped out their communications what they thought was secret, making it go through routes they had boxed off, but also the detailed locations of every Hamas, Hezbollah and Iranian military head. They have now completely destroyed Gaza, and have shown no mercy or any concern about what happens to the innocents in the hospitals camps and homes, we probably don't have any idea really how bad it really is. They took Hezbollah apart and now wait for the uprising in Iran. This just didnt happen as a reprisal IMHO and was thought out.
Me I think they can carry on fighting against Israel now but it just causes more bairns and mams to be killed/murdered needlessly. And for me there are more ways to skin a cat even if it is a long long game.
I don't read or frequent any reddit forums, nor get what I think from You Tube conspiracy clap trap, so I don't peddle anything, whether I be right or wrong, its just my thoughts.
Me, I don't know everything and don't claim to, but I've just been watching it from afar like most on here since I was around 15... say 1976, on the news - over the decades, plus my old fella did his Nat Service with the Royal Artillery in Egypt during the Suez crisis, so Middle east politics was always on the agenda during long boring conversations amongst other political things.
On top of thousands of many innocent civilians and children being bombed and shot the latest form of genocidal murder is starvation.

The only country with any influence over Israel is the USA and trump is happy to see the ethnic cleansing continue
But that similar to saying my vote is only one and doesn't matter?
We should be unequivocal in calling it out for what it is. Genocide.
We should cease providing all weapons to Israel
We should lead on getting all of the Israeli Cabinet charged with Genocide by the International Criminal Court
And we should consider punitive sanctions.
