It does but they've managed roughly one third of our total in half of our innings.

Yesterday really was something special, unfortunate I was in London with work and didn't catch a second of it :)
 
What a difference two days make. Ben Duckett out first ball and Pope gone early innings.

Should still be a draw but be interesting if England can set a quick big total.

Nasser reckons England will push for 270'ish today & set Pakistan a target.. fun & results.. that is what England are about now, win or lose put on a show for the people..
 
174-3... overall... a good position to be in, another 100 maybe 150 & a day to attack for the win...
 
Unlucky Harry, falls chasing Gilbert Jessop‘s 1902 record 76-ball century.

Jessop’s knock is remarkable when we acknowledge it was scored on uncovered pitch, was the only century in that match, and included no sixes (you had to physically hit the ball out of the ground to be awarded a 6 back then).

The only cricketer to have a word named after him….Jessopian

Pakistan set 342 in approx 100 overs.
Brought Pakistan right back into with that declaration.
 
I’ve not been following the test that closely.
Is Liam Livingstone injury or unwell. Can’t understand why he didn’t bowl a single ball if he’s not.

I'm pretty sure the word "Grace" was invented after W G Grace held the Aussies off single-handedly at Rourke's Drift in 1898.

"Grace Under Pressure" was coined as a phrase by the Times editor (Mr C Dickens I seem to remember).
 
Can't bowl everything short on this pitch.

Tired bowlers and a road of a pitch is a dangerous combination against a bold declaration.
 
343 needed in around 100 overs. 3.4 per over needed on a road of a pitch.

I just don’t get it? They’re not going to have to throw the kitchen sink at it like we just have getting quick runs. Odds surely must favour a Pakistan win now.

This short bowling will last about half an hour then the trundler spinners will come on
 
Surely a Pakistan win here.

I'm getting a lot of predictions wrong lately, hopefully this is another one.
