Oxford United v Wycombe Wanderers

Who do folk on here favour/want to win tonight then?

High Wycombe is a slightly more distant away journey.
Oxford being promoted means we'll almost certainly be shipping out Marcus Browne to them.

Wycombe are in the slightly dodgy position of reaching the play-off finals despite finishing the season in 8th before PPG.

I'm hoping for a Wycombe to win, as I'm an outlier in rating Marcus Browne and hoping we keep him.
Plus that Adebayo Akinfenwa is an absolute unit and I'd enjoy seeing a 38 year old giant scoring the winner from off the bench.

I went to Wycombe in the cup when they were a non league team.

I think I would like Oxford to win and Browne to do well in the game, he’s our player so if we want to keep him I’m sure he will be more than happy to try and stick it out here. I do like Akinfenwa for Wycombe though, seems a nice guy. And like you say an absolute unit, would be good for him to have a big moment at Wembley

Rather Oxford win

I have had a bet on Marcus Browne being sent off @40-1, as we all know he has a real edge to him and I think he was a little fortunate not to get two yellows in the semi.
I for one do not want him back and hope we can get back more than we paid for him

Only passed through High Wycombe on the train.
That will be another ground ticked off next season.(y)

Aye, congratulations to them, huge result for them and their first time in the second tier.

It's weird that both League One and League Two have had play-off winners who ended the season outside of the play-offs.

They could actually be a league higher than us, who'd ahve thought that after our FAC draw there in 1975, saying that I've been to Oxford twice, not been to Wycombe, IF we stay up & I decide to go there it'll be ground 83 for me, actually 84 I forgot about Eindhoven

Their fans will be having Christmas every day.......Boro / Owls / Trees / Rams / Robins / Swans / Bluebirds / Blues / Villa (?).......a dream come true for them.
Well done.

STOP IT!!!!
That is truly frightening....

Thought their big defender Stewart looked a solid player. Was impressed by him, seemed a leader type aswell

Chairboys is such a poor nickname, hahah
The teams from just west of London have some dodgy nicknames - the Boro are playing The Biscuit Men today (I know they have changed it recently). Also never forget watching Billingham Synthonia in FA Trophy quarter final v Woking back in 90s and an old bloke next to me shouting Come on The Cards everytime Woking attacked
