Over 20 Get your jab here

Booked in for my 1st jab (Oxford AZ) on the 24th

Found it better in my area (East Kent) to wait for my doctors surgery to text me, which made it a local vaccination centre, where as the NHS website wanted to send me 50 miles over the Thames

Really, the nhs site gave me about ten options with the furthest one of those being 5 miles away.

Yes mate

Was offered Clacton, Basildon, Ipswich, Dagenham and a couple of other over the water from me

No dramas though we got there in the end. If people are willing to wait a couple of days it may be a better option than going through the NHS site. In most cases though I`d expect the NHS site to be better.

Either way it`s all good

Btw, the fact that the media and everyone else is calling it a jab is doing my ead in. It’s an injection, vaccination, inoculation the last thing I want in my arm is anything ‘jabbed’

Yes it seems quite efficient. I settled to get mine done at the local Tesco’s just down the road from me. Hopefully it’s not Sheila from the deli counter who is administering them or that fishmonger fella he looks a right evil fella when he gets those knives out!

Tried again today and no luck.

I'm just too damn healthy 😂
When you say no luck what’s happening - I’ve been in a few times and it either puts you straight through to the list of vaccination centres based upon your postcode or you need to wait in a queue for a very short time and then proceed.

Neither, it says I'm not eligible this time. So it must til be over 45s and not over 40s

Apparently they’re going to start calling over 30’s by the end of this week. If it’s the same as before they’ll start with the late 30’s so try the link. But apparently nearly half of over 40’s still to be jabbed, so not sure how it works. Worth a shot though (no pun intended)

Blimey. Wasn't expecting a call until July/August. Middle of the age range so I'll await that text or letter or whatever it is.

Or just try entering your details in the website on the link above, you don’t even need your NHS number. I’d give it a few days, I’m surprised myself, but I’ve had good info all the way through so far.

Nah I'll just wait for my turn. I trust the NHS already have a working system in place, I'll just be patient.

#Edit - out of curiosity I entered details, not eligible.

They might drop the age ranges a bit faster if less people are signing up straight away. It's sensible to keep the vaccination centres running at capacity.
