Our team is ready to take off.

The forwards and midfield are there if Warnock takes the anchors off. Forget about man marking the opposition. Let them worry about us. We can’t keep clean sheets so let’s start attacking teams and let the opposition worry about us. To be leading against Blackpool at half time, who were in the bottom three and sit back in the second half and lose 2.1 was ridiculous.

Neil has it right................

Marvin Ekpiteta’s fine touch and turn led to the Tangerines defender cancelling out Marcus Tavernier’s eighth-minute opener just after the hour.

And Middlesbrough defender Grant Hall was left with his head in his hands after he turned a corner into his own net in the 78th minute to hand Blackpool a second win since returning to the second tier of English football.

“Having said that, you still have to defend the goal. I think the free-kick is played and nobody runs across to it, I think it was Isaiah Jones. The cross then comes in and Dael gets turned, I am disappointed to concede like that.

“I am disappointed we haven’t won the game. That’s life. Things happen. We could have been out of sight by half-time, the injury to Dijksteel, not having a full-back on the bench, cost us. I thought we were comfortable before that.

“I thought it was a good game. I thought we are a little short on numbers. We can’t get it going consistently, we don’t have that ruthless streak at times.

“I can’t fault them effort-wise, or for their technical ability, but it’s about finding that little bit extra. Until we get clean sheets we won’t get where we want to be. To lose a game from a corner kick is comical really.”

Cut out the poor defending - like Hall`s own goal, and focus on doing the job properly.
We have all the pieces in place, but the biggest problem is concentration.
It has to come.

Loads of excuses and platitudes, as usual.

It's not "one of those things" if it happens every week. If you think it's disappointing Neil, spare a thought for supporters who take time and pay money to watch the inept rubbish that your team has served up since the lockdown. It's your fault Neil and blaming referees every week is just an excuse. Try looking closer to home for someone to blame.

I thought he might have it right when a few weeks ago he said teams have to double up on Jones, but when he gets Hernandez in the team they won’t be able to double up on them both.
Then he dropped Jones for Hernandez. So 🤷🏼
Warnock isn't a top manager unfortunately and he's being found out. His 7 promotions in 95 years or whatever it is, hides his lack of success.

Watching him during games, he gets more upset with a dodgy throw in decision than bad play by the team.

Hopefully he leaves soon.

The irony of the opening post isn’t lost. Ready for take off yet lose to a club whose away record is dreadful….

Should he get on alongside Grant Hall then and play in defense?

we (bormuff) were 2-0 up against blackpool at half-time, and they came back and drew 2-2. they played really well & deserved it on the day.

We are losing out in possession of the football no matter who we play - yes I can see that Neil has it right!!

That's about as ironic as rain on your wedding day.
It did rain on my wedding day ! I still fail to see a link about being ready for take off when we struggle to win more than one game consecutively. More like intermittent engine trouble with the same cause.

We are letting the opposition dictate the play, and pace of the game, which as the home team against so called lesser teams is ridiculous. Fair enough against the top teams, but we really should be controlling games and making the opposition change the way they play to suit us, not the other way round.
