This day 28th April, Boro's final game of the season seen John Hickton score his final hat trick for the mighty Boro in a 3-2 home win over Orient, we were actually losing 2-1 at one time until a late burst from King John himself I was in the seats behind the goal, a crowd of 7,939 at the match
A great, great gentleman, goalscorer & penalty king for the Boro & forever a Boro legend, one of the best ever Boro signings for me & those early 70's sideburns were awesome
