Our Form or lack thereof

First day back after the enforced break and it's not looking good for us and Hull. Could be over before the last day if we don't do something.

Our game against Hull will have so much on it and will undoubtedly be one of the worst games of football ever played. We’ll end up where we deserve too

This is still true. If we somehow survive this season, i can only see it being put off for a season with those leaving and likely being replaced with dross.

To be fair, i think a lot of teams are going to be trimming squads because of the revenue fall. Just i think other teams have way smarter backroom staff. Should be interesting seeing the effect on player wages. They might have to accept a drop across the board.
 
The Luton game was the last of the last straws for me. We didn't have a shot at home against a team who hadn't won away all season. When Woodgate survived that I realised he wasn't going anywhere. Demotivated football players playing under a manager with absolutely no nous or common sense, equals relegation. I said very early on in the season that I didn't think there were three worse teams than us. Now, I'd put my house on it.

I think if we can beat Hull and help out the goal difference a little more, whilst not 'safe' obviously there will be enough other teams down in the mire that we can relax a bit. We can then concentrate on picking up the extra points needed to make it mathematical, if that makes sense.

Indeed. We lose to the worst form team in the League so doesn’t bode well for confidence in the remaining fixtures. This is going to the wire I fear.

Still can't believe we didn't start with Fletcher and Britt up front and Warnock went on to compound the mistake by not rectifying it!
 
Don't rely on us finishing 3rd bottom and Wigan having a point deduction.
Our form is still worse than all those down there so we could easily slide into the bottom 2 and make the Wigan situation irrelevant.

Going into the final 3 games and you can see how we've made things far more difficult for ourselves than they should be.
Still in slightly better form than our season average, but little room for any slip ups.
Allowing Hull to pick up their only win in 17 shows just where our problem lies, we aren't a team that strikes fear into their opponents and at this time of the season any fragility can be deadly to your survival.
