You look at Watmore who needed 4 weeks training to even come close to the first team.

He's nearly gone a whole season without a club. Probably a reason for that (demands as former prem big earner).

Primarily for me, it's a CB who we need. Hall is probably here only because he was cheap, available and we were short at the back.
I'd really like to see NW find his 'Chris Morgan',...or our 'Tony Mowbray' to partner Dael Fry (in a Pallister style role).
At the end of the day we've got two right backs, a defensive midfielder and 2 CBs who are not fully fit regularly swapping places in a makeshift defence.

Let's get that sorted first.
