Hard to ascertain whether this person is arrested because he's a journalist or because he's black. Either way this is terrifying. This is the type of footage you'd see in a tinpot banana republic and be shocked by.

Yeah : in the report you can clearly hear the reporters asking the police where they should go as the have got in the way. Then at the end the cameraman gets a message to the studio saying they have been arrested for "refusing to move" that's the problem in Trumpworld. Fake news means you can just say blue is red and it becomes the truth.

As you say Muttley, it appears has main crime was being black. I guess Trump considers working for CNN as a misdemeanour rather than a federal offence.

There is definitely tension rising that Trump's provocative twitter ramblings are not helping ( understatement yes).

Anybody read the story of the Wall St banker who whilst walking her dog in Central Park came across a part being used by bird watchers. One of them, an Afro American asked her to put her dog on a lead ( because of the birds nesting). It escalated from there with the woman calling the police alleging intimidation. Fortunately the guy had filmed it and there was no such intimidation. The video went viral and the lady in question has been sacked from her job. She has now apologised

Exactly. This is what I don't get about the fake news world. WE CAN SEE HIM HOLDING HIS ID OUT TO THE POLICE. Yet they claim he wasn't identified as a member of the media. What on earth?

4 years?

I'd say it would happen here right now should something similar happen to a black man in London for example. The government are already doing their best to suppress the media in this country.

Look at what happened during the riots in London a few years back. The hotspot of London caused a few localized hotspots around the country.
If it happened again it would cause hotspots in every large city on England.
