That's david thewliss on the left there. Played professor lupin in the Harry potter films.Too many to choose from, most of the classics already been mentioned.
Got to mention mental Mickey though!
Woah this is a hell of a statement!. I preferred it when it was Grandad, downhill after he died and Uncle Albert joined!
At the time I thought Citizen Smith was brilliant when I watched it as a student. Caught an episode last year on one of the nostalgia channels and I sadly didn't laugh once. It hasn't aged well.Didn’t Sullivan (John) also write Citizen Smith? Loved that…Power to the People!
Rodney is a slightly underrated character. Other characters might tend to get better lines, but they wouldn't land half as well without Rodney to play off. His facial expressions are brilliant.I think the episode is called “Dates”. One of the classics. Derek Duval. Triggers date.
Hiring Raquel to be Uncle Albert’s stripper, under the disguise of arresting him. Del stripping a real copper.
Best line is Raquel, right after being found out to be a stripper, shouting at Del, sulking in his van - “I suppose this is your Ferrari”
Del - “OK, so I lied. At least I don’t go around pubs, flashing my boobs for blokes, do I Rodney?!”
Rodney - [confused look on his face] “no, he’s never done anything like that”.
It’s Rodney’s face that makes it.
When Del lent him some imaginary chalk to chalk his imaginary cueThe episode when they go to the country cabin for some fishing and there is a maniac on the loose from a mental institution.
It actually felt quite spooky when I first watched it as well as funny.
No you're not.I think I'm the only human never to have watched a single episode of it
