One suggestion to decide the league - average points per game

As follows

So, divide the number of points you have got now by the games you have played, then multiply that by the number of games you have got left. Add that on to your existing points for your final total.

Can anyone produce an EFL table and show where this would leave us if it was to happen. ??

Wouldn't that just give the table as it is?

How about the remaining fixtures are decided based on the corresponding earlier fixture? E.g. QPR away was a draw so a draw will be awarded for the home fixture.

Of course, the playoffs would cause potential legal issues as the teams finishing 6th, 5th and 4th would say they had been denied the chance to gain promotion.

This was suggested for the prem but I’d expect the EFL to be having similar conversations.

I prefer the points per game table for the Prem but with separate calculations for points per game at home and points per game away, and then combined them because that meant both Villa and West Ham were relegated (y)
