One slight niggle for me on this board.

Don't get me wrong, been playing about with it for an hour now and I really like it.

It's far more user friendly.
And great on a phone.

I'm sure you'll appreciate the feedback Rob? It's just a small niggle.

Just on a thread that gets a good response, is there a way to 'list all' of the replies without having to click next?

Some threads already with 3 nexts on.

I prefer the whole lot to scroll through.
Just my personal preference.

Anyway, well done, I think it's very good, and cheers for the invite to give it a whirl.

If you set the last post at the top as a norm wouldn’t that be confusing? You wouldn’t know what the thread was about. Also I don’t know any modern forums these days that don’t have a limited number of posts per page?

Not sure what you mean Dibzzz. If I open a thread, I do see all the replies to scroll through.

It is an option I choose on technical forums as better arguments develop the longer the thread. I guess arguments develop on fmttm as well . . . but not in a good way.

Agree that it would be better to have all posts on one page like the original fmttm. I always liked that compared to other message boards.

Also agree it would be better if read posts turned Black too.

Personally, I think multiple pages are far better and the lack of that was one of my biggest criticisms of the original board, long threads were a mess to navigate.

With multiple pages some forums have the latest pages next to the thread title so you can go to the last page straight away rather than 'click' the thread, go to the bottom, then click the next page.

Whoops! PS Just noticed this does as well!

You do get to see a lot and I am used to have to use the different pages on other sites that I use. I suspect it runs better if there is a limit to the number of posts per page.

I like the idea that longer threads aren't all on one page, but then FMTTM has always been a bit of a dogs dinner in terms of threads; theres often loads of them on the same topic, rather than a single thread with all the posts on.

OneBoro site is a good example of this - I prefer going to the last post, rather than scrolling through from the beginning.

Does the board keep you logged in. Even though I have the box ticked Microsoft Edge doesn't. Not sure if its a board error or not.

I'd check your settings. I'm logged in on Edge and Chrome on my laptop as well as Chrome and DuckDuckGo on my phone and tablet and all keep me logged in between sessions.

A request - is there the possibility of having a 'compact' thread list view (minus profile photos) in order to fit more onto the screen, when viewing on a mobile phone?
