They appeared at the Avenue Youth Club and, IIRC, they also did a gig at Middlesbrough High School's end of term disco!

Regarding the link you provided , I'm sure Cycle were performing before 1970 as I'm sure I saw them circa 1968

They may well have done. I left school in 1970 and they were on the go then.

Yep remember very well. Did the wingate/trimdon/doggy area working mens club rock nights - Favs and well attended were TRIMDON COMRADES on a friday , Doggy on a thursday , Shotton Saturday Other well known act were Mynd - keyboard based, date - around 1974/75 ish
