One Boro ITK claims Neil is off

But NW didn't play him as a defensive midfielder, Morsay even said he found it 'different' to his normal position.

And it a fact that not one single championship club wanted him when we let it be known he was available.
Warnock doesn't like a proper CDM, he likes his midfielders to run around a lot, not stay in position and hold the space

Yeah i agree, also think him & Howson should've swapped roles!
Our best results always came when Howson, Sav & Morsy were in the same side, the added bite helped us massively....
What we're missing now, badly....

Browne has tweeted an image saying ‘we working’ with a zipped mouth emoji.

Could that mean anything?

Hopefully that something has happened, they’re not allowed to say anything but are continuing to work on their fitness.

In reality, probs just that Dijksteel isn’t in a talkative mood 🤣

Haha maybe. I’m taking anything as a possible link to his departure now. I’m sad 😂

Sounds like the young lads aren’t a fan of Warnock. Rumarn Burrell is playing fifa with Connor Malley, Folarin and Malik Dijksteel and their team name is Warnocks rejects.
This highlights the foolishness of public social media accounts for young footballers. Stuff like this makes the job even harder than it already is for a manager, and can undermine a manager unnecessarily. It could be just an in-house joke that Warnock already knows about, but we know probably it isn't.

If it isn't, then even if just meant as a joke by the players, it's easily read by the outside world as a lack of professionalism and respect. The club should get a handle on this kind of thing. The money players are paid, it's not unreasonable to place contractual obligations on them regarding their public interactions, it certainly applies in many other professions, most of which aren't as well paid.

As funny as I found it I agree with you to be fair. It’s unprofessional.

Yeah, agree. It is funny, and the kind of thing we all feel like doing sometimes, and young lads especially don't think about the consequences. Without social media, noone ever knows and it's a harmless joke. What I don't get is why clubs aren't hotter on managing it through player contracts. No wages for a week for a stupid post might make them think twice before they do it 🤷‍♂️

It does feel as though we are coming to the end of the Warnock era, not sure what else we can try that hasn't worked since Karamka was here. Personally I would stick with Warnock for a bit longer, we were very unlucky on Saturday and our injury list is horrendous, but he does seem to have fallen out with a few of the squad, which is never a good sign and tends to happen during times like these!

I think the club do control player social media to an extent, Ashley Fletcher was made to delete a post just because he admitted he was out injured for a long time in it.

Payero had to delete a message showing he was at Rockliffe Hall before we'd officially signed him.

Totally agree!! I’d give them a pay rise not be on social media.

I remember Cameron Park would often tweet negativity after finding out he hadn’t been selected. This isn’t new and the club needs to find ways of stopping it. Education, rewards and fines.

Obviously no, but i don't think NW staying is to the detriment of the club!😜
So you are genuinely happy with 11 wins in 35 or whatever it is now?

And additionally think no other manager we could attract could do better over the course of this season?

Along with the new guy getting a head start on next season, as we know Warnock only has seven months left before retiring, assessing the players and working with Scott over the upcoming two transfer windows to get us where they both wants us.

riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight
neil warnock wanted to sell sam morsy and replace him with a unproven lad for france
neil warnock didnt want to sign an extra left back.. he wanted to spaff 5mil on a lad from argentina with no idea where to play him
etc
Peltier, Bamba, Crooks, Olysuna, Lumley, Daniels, Uche, Watmore, Ameobi, Fisher, Hernandez (maybe) ... Akpom (status unknown) ... There's more or less a full team of Warnock players ..

But because he's been handed 2 or 3 extra it's being claimed it's not his squad? Don't be silly
