Old, old music

Me too mate

I grew up with music in the house from morning till night when the TV went on

My mam use to constantly play as I've said, NKC, Glenn Miller, along with Perry Como, Slim Whitmin, Dean Martin & many more who I still listen to this day, my dad was in to James Last & we mocked him over that, great days
My dad also loved James Last. Before him it was this man and his orchestra and singers.

Some excellent singers in there - I always quite liked a lot of the Andy Williams stuff too he really was a great vocalist.

Sunday tea time memories when the radio went on and Sing Something Simple came on. My nana and pop would love that.
Loved those days Cardiff, after Sunday dinner on the evening we'd have trifle with cakes that our mam would bake & put in the two tier cake stand then listen to music, I didn't appreciate as such but looking back what a family grounding

Matt Munroe, another one of my mams, my favourite Bond theme

Perry Como

Another big favourites of our mams, great singer with some great hits, still listen to Englebert to this day(y)
I always remember this record as its my mams birthday
