Oh dear Boris

Even if he goes, we're probably gonna end up with a reptile like Rees Mogg. That's an even more stomach churning prospect.

There is literally nobody within the Tory ranks that will be anywhere near a reasonable leader and a credible PM. I would think that even the likes of that slimy prat Gove would think it a poisoned chalice and give it a wide berth.

It's got Jeremy hunt written all over it

I have maintained from Day One that this should have been a cross party issue and that party politics should have no role in something as serious as trying to avert a pandemic, Labour and other parties, I think, are broadly backing the government as they don’t see the benefit of muddying the waters by offering an alternative that others may follow, MP’s have been critical and tried to hold the Prime Minister and his Cabinet to task at the execution of their plans without being critical of the measures taking place, it’s a balancing act.

There are plenty of MP’s of all rosettes who are unhappy with the performance of Johnson as Prime Minister but because of the current situation, can’t go fully on the attack as it would be seen as the wrong time, it’s not an accident that Johnson has extended measures so far into the future, as in a way it gives him job security and focuses scrutiny onto Covid and lockdown measures rather than himself.
I agree about the cross-party thing. I said that at the time.

Just watching the news and they have someone on answering viewers questions regarding the Rule of 6.
The lady providing the answer pointed out that it depends where you live in the UK, but as to the particular viewer question, in England you can meet 5 people in your home one day then another 5 people the next.
In microcosm that shows why we are where we are.
Fudged guidance and people then seeking clarification as to what they can legally get away with.
For some of us, we don't need clarification because we know how the virus spreads, how it can be deadly, how to minimise the risks to ourselves, our friends and our families. We comply not because we're told to, we do so because we know that it is the right thing to do.
I can moan about the government and those who don't comply until the cows come home, but this has been years in the making.
