From official mfc.co.uk website -
The match is a 3pm kick-off at The Valley, and away fans should be aware of major rail works taking place on Southeastern Railways when making their travel arrangements across the capital.

As a result of the works, Charlton Station is closed, and there are no trains on the line between Lewisham, New Cross and Charlton. A bus replacement service will be operating, but this will only consist of one double-decker bus every half an hour.

The nearest public transport hub to Charlton will be North Greenwich Station on the London Underground, which is on the Jubilee Line from London Bridge. Please be advised that this is either a 40 minute walk, a 20 minute local bus ride or 10 minutes in a taxi to the stadium.

We have sold over 1,550 tickets for the match this weekend.

Tickets remain on sale from the MFC Ticket Office, and are available online until 3pm on Wednesday.

After that, tickets will be available over the telephone for collection only from the Riverside, until 3pm on Thursday.

Sales will be available on the day, but with a £3 price increase. FULL DETAILS HERE

Can't wait for this, if we manage to get a win it will make that forest point look so much better Rob!

That is very true indeed. It pushes us on but also pulls Charlton downwards.
Note - the walk from North Greenwich is quite similar for all those that walked from Seven Sisters tube to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Have some find memories of Charlton, that elegant viduka volley for one!

Mixed memories myself - some tremendous wins but then most recently - Aitor Karanka's lost weekend and the whistling Charlton fans whistling up a 2-0 defeat for Agnew's Boro. Adam Clayton ran over to the fans at the end and said remember we are still 2nd in the league. He was a calming influence and he was right we pulled through.

I remember that game vividly. Leo came over and was wearing an AK training top and was telling everyone to stick together!

That was John Pickering's match - his one game between Lennie Lawrence and Bryan Robson was a crushing defeat of Charlton.

I shall be taking buses, Metrolink, trains, tube, DLR, ferry, Shanks' pony and possibly taxi(s) to get to this game. Over land and sea etc. :D
