OFFICIAL It's FRIDAY tipple thread!

Whatever is left in the garage from Christmas. Last Friday was a case of San Miguel. Haven't had a drop since. Thirsty now but have to buy a birthday present or two and write some quiz questions.

Wine here.

going to make some soup, then got a FaceTime with some friends at six which will be accompanied by some Sauvignon blank. Once they’ve gone we‘ll have the soup and bread I baked this morning, with more wine.

Thankfully, it's that time of the week again... it's Friday and the weekend is almost upon us! With my selection of a few beers this week, I think I'l open with this classic. What's on the menu for the rest of you lot? Cheers 🍺🍺🍺

Great drink, used to love that in the middle house in marske half that half bitter-I think it was called standard

Perhaps a reflection on your political preferences? Just kidding Cooper, enjoy! Are you going white, red or rose?

White - Mrs doesn't like red so again keep it simple and stick to the white

I'm not a huge wine drinker, it's more of an occasional social thing really... events, parties etc which obviously aren't happening at the moment. I'll usually drink white, don't mind an occassional rose with Mrs WeeGord but not a fan of red at all. Funny thing is, I'm rather prone to a nice port and they're not exactly a million miles apart. I'm a strange fish, that's a fact.

To be fair there isn't much I wouldn't drink. Not a fan of Southern Comfort though

I've never tasted that since I was a teenager (far too long ago, sadly) and never touched anything even remotely close to whiskey after a rather sickening (literally) experience as a teenager. However, I recently tried Jack Daniels for the first time and it was much better than I anticipated, I think Southern Comfort tastes similar doesn't it?

I would say, from memory which may be abit hazy that its alot sweeter than JD. I like bourbon. Usually get a bottle of Crown at Christmas which lasted 4 days this year
