No different to Leeds away.Loved them but I struggle to imagine being amongst worse people than what I’ve experienced at Oasis gigs.
Kasabian could edge it. I saw oasis at Loch Lomond,. everyone seemed lovely there. Don't think I'd see the reunion tho if it happened.Loved them but I struggle to imagine being amongst worse people than what I’ve experienced at Oasis gigs.
I’m never tolerant of knob heads and people spoiling things for others in any setting. It’s nothing to do with tolerant or liberal to not enjoy being showered by cups of beer or pi$$ which is the norm at big Oasis gigs. The working classes behaving like the working classes = chavs. I thought this was a liberal, tolerant board.![]()
I genuinely find Oasis gigs to be pretty much the same kind of crowd as our away matches. Unfortunately these “working class” crowds are not all that educated and sophisticated, nor do they profess to be.I’m never tolerant of knob heads and people spoiling things for others in any setting. It’s nothing to do with tolerant or liberal to not enjoy being showered by cups of beer or pi$$ which is the norm at big Oasis gigs.
I suppose I do have the benefit of hindsight watching them dish out utter ***** for the next decadeHa yeah. That’s exactly what anyone would have done immediately after releasing one of the most successful albums of all time.![]()
Prettt much. Gaked up, ***ed up nobs. Someone mentioned away fans. Yes the portion of away fans that most people avoidI’m never tolerant of knob heads and people spoiling things for others in any setting. Depends who you believe I guess. Owen Jones wrote an interesting book about it.I thought the word "chav" became popular as it was adopted by the working class to distinguish between themselves and what they considered a lower class than them.
Thanks for the generalization. I'm in my 50s and went to see Liam Gallagher in concert recently. I don't do drugs and i'm not a chav.Prettt much. Gaked up, ***ed up nobs. Someone mentioned away fans. Yes the portion of away fans that most people avoid
Me too actually. And to be honest there were no “chavs” or drugs on show. Thanks for the generalization. I'm in my 50s and went to see Liam Gallagher in concert recently. I don't do drugs and i'm not a chav.
Lots of chavs singing "slowly walking down the hall faster than a cannonball" as if it means something.
Pretty sure you slag them off on every Oasis thread.‘It’s a metafor mate’
Oh yeah? What for?
‘Drugs a fink, ur just a music snob’
Dead on mate, aye. They’re *****.
Most of them won’t have any clue what that line is referring to but it’s The Breeders song where the cannonball is rolling around town.Lots of chavs singing "slowly walking down the hall faster than a cannonball" as if it means something.
Oh well that’s killed it. Might as well cancel the 10 nights at Wembley now everyone knows their music was influenced by something else. Most of them won’t have any clue what that line is referring to but it’s The Breeders song where the cannonball is rolling around town.
