Now that Skysports have fuelled all this panic over coronavirus

This is the sort of thing that could really shake-up the status quo. Having no football to show for a few weeks/months, and a loss of subscribers, could have a massive impact on their business model, which is by far their most profitable revenue stream.

Most people will be tied down to a years contract anyways, and even if they did cancel then they'll see an uptake when the season resumes - they're not going to experience cash flow problems and so I'd say it's unlikely to have a massive effect on Sky. More likely to see clubs go to the wall than Sky.

Some will, but many aren't. NOWTV revenue could plummet. The level of impact is likely to be determined by how long this goes on, which at this point, no one knows. I'm not making a cast iron prediction, but it is this kind of event which could really alter the status quo.

I have a feeling they will give Sports package users - free films & entertainment packages - until the sport is back on... & 100% certain re run old sports...

for those already with those.... tough ;-)

I was really looking fwd to the F1 season starting too. Cue Endless reruns of Liverpool 4 Newcastle 3.
