ClassI’m not a fan of announcement videos, but his is pretty good![]()
I read somewhat that's its £900k, possibly rising to £1.5mCan't see anywhere of the cost. Anyone know?
They haven’t pocketed £900k as Newcastle get 40% of the fee. That’s why they wanted as much as they did, if we offered £400k they’d only get £240k, they might as well keep him for that.Looks a tidy player, great passing range. But it’s mad to think he has 5 months to run on his contract and Rotherham have pocketed £900k with possible ad ons. He wasn’t going to sign a new deal with them. So how have they managed to get that price. 5 months. It’s madness. Must be to do with the fact they feel he might have kept them up. If he had 3 years left would they be asking 4m.

Good question!Great signing, I didn't actually realise he had the same number of assists as Giles! Question is. Is he gonna have to bide his time or is going straight in to the side?
Midfield was great yesterday!
I jkusat asked exactly that on another thread. Howson's pass through for our second yesterday was sublime so would be cruel to replace himGood question!
After yesterday’s performance I don’t see how we can change the starting eleven. Maybe replace Howson or Hackney after 60 mins when we are 3-0 up?

Think Howson is two yellows from a suspension, but it resets in three games, so unlikely.I think the situation is ideal - starts on the bench. Is there if someone is tiring/injured/not playing well.
Gets a start when hackney/howson get injured or suspended. And if he plays well at that point he keeps his place.
No hurry.
