Now 2020 has arrived I've been going to the Riverside longer than Ayresome Park

25 years Wow, how time flies

Look at what we have acheived at the Riverside, it's a no brainer the Boro had to move grounds

The old tales that the gypsies curse stopped us winning anything, geeting to cup finals, in to europe
We had excellent players, very, very good teams, better than teams that won trophies & as good as teams that got in to europe, probably as good the team that won the 1st division

All about opinions at the end of the day

99% of my memories, good or bad are at AP, but one thing will always be special to us Boro fans & that is to see the Boro lift the carling cup, which I & thousands of other Boro fans thought we would never see

As I left the Boro in 1977 I have probably still seen more matches at Ayresome Park compared with the Riverside.

I’ve still got a few years to go but no doubt the whole experience at the Riversides is better than AP. Like you, I have some fond memories of AP but the Steau game is up there with the cup final. Watching TLF in a Boro shirt and having to pinch myself is better than watching Bobby Thompson. 🤣🤣
