Not sure if this has been posted but Simon Clarke...

Loads of his constituents are also guisbrough, nunthorpe etc. he's getting a lot more flak these days but still has his supporters. Hopefully he will be out

Does this ****** live in a dreamworld... Does he think every persons situation is the same. I cant imagine how tough it is say you live in the south; pay rent, maybe have 2 kids and need to pay for childcare. Im sure thats most of that wage gone.

There will be people all over the country who will budget and still suffer.

I despise this man so much he is utterly repulsive.

He’s getting a real kicking on LBC this morning. Even the King of the Gammons, Nick Maserati Is having a go.

I'm amazed he grew up on Teesside, even at Yarm school he must have got a shoeing daily if his personality was anything like it is now.

I bet he was constantly telling tales to the teachers.

A young qualified nurse now has to be graduate, so nurses who have qualified will now be paying what Martin Lewis describes as a graduate tax on top of income tax (for student loan) and national insurance.

As said I can see some nurses struggling you are in band 5 (£27k to £32k) in expensive areas of the UK and are single. Say taking home £1900/month and paying out £1300/month on rent and utility/council tax bills, another £300 to run a car. On Teesside the £1300 will be more like £900/month.

Of course he not just nurses there are lots of young professionals who must be in a similar position.

To me the economics don't support the case for offering just £1400/year rise (average 4.75%) - if there are many vacancies it is likely pay will need to rise by at least the rate of core inflation.

This has shown him up for the nasty little creep that he is.. A career politician who will roll out any party line that will further his standing with those above him, giving no thought to the constituants that put him where he is.

I look forward to his demise which surely must come at the next GE. The phrase odious little turd has never been more apt.
