Not one left-footed player on the teamsheet...?

We have needed left sided center back since Ben Gibson left. Whole of team is totally unbalanced when trying to play right footed player in that position, don’t defend correctly and can’t pass ball forward to start attacks. Also not fair on player who is having to play on wrong side of pitch, looks like it’s Fry for now and he is just not the same player playing left, so in effect a very good defender becomes a very average defender.
We are also making a very good full back look very average as a wingback in Dijksteel

Fry has always looked better as left sided CB rather than on the right. He played poorly there when Woodgate had him on the right.

You're surely getting your sides mixed up there.

Fry has always looked good on the right, he played on the left under Woodgate and struggled badly.

We're being linked with two left footed centre backs in Kean Bryan and Curtis Brown, I think we're bound to sign at least one of them.

Jarrod Branthwaite on loan from Everton would help, LCH , LB , young but talented.
See my lists on the threads
Grosicki ,
Windass or Powell,
plenty of decent options there.

Doubt Warnock would go there after last seasons tirade vs Blackburn Rovers

He struggled badly as the season went on, so showing that he was moved to the left as the season progressed is surely just reinforcing my point.

He played over 2/3rds of his season on the left hand side, and 2019/20 is one of the worst seasons we've ever had.
Both defensively and offensively.

He was moved back to the right hand side under Warnock and has largely been excellent.
