Anyone know where is the best place to park near carrow road.
I left Wymondham in 2017, some of them drinking places must be new especially the Redwell. What is the score with the Angler and Red Lion!!Canary fan in peace. Been lurking on this site for I dunno, 20 years, got a soft spot for Boro and the people from that area (from my time in the Army) Anyway, you can park up down White Horse Lane in Trowse for free if you get there early enough, the earlier you get there the nearer to the ground you get (should be plenty of roadside spaces about an hour or so before kick off. Pop in the White Horse for a pre-match pint, we're a friendly bunch, nice little beer garden out the back it's an old school Norfolk pub with a matchday menu (pretty basic) and it's 20 min walk up to carra rd. Make sure you park up facing the A47 away from Norwich so you get an easy dot out otherwise you'll be fighting traffic getting away from the city and it's almost impossible to turn around. Further up towards the ground is the excellent Redwell Tap brewhouse underneath the railway arches, ace beers and perhaps avoid the rip-off pizza on matchdays
If White Horse Lane is chock full then crack on towards Norwich and you can park up for free at Norfolk Snowsports Club (Saturdays only) in Trowse. I know "Norfolk Snowsports Club wtaf?" but yeah, it's an actual thing... https://www.norfolksnowsports.com/
Morrisons has a 90 min time restriction matchdays, not sure how rigid they police it but it is a cctv covered carpark.
Anyway, may the best team win and hope you have a good day out/safe trip.

Compleat Angler is ok - nothing special I thought when I went there last time. It used to be excellent but now more a food pub with the Greene King stamp on it. Will try the Redwell Tap.I left Wymondham in 2017, some of them drinking places must be new especially the Redwell. What is the score with the Angler and Red Lion!!
Compleat Angler used to be away fan friendly but new owner changed that as kept getting smashed up. Coach and Horses on Thorpe Rd is away and home fan friendly http://www.thecoachthorperoad.co.uk/ as someone said earlier you can park at Rose Lane or try the multistory at Riverside opposite Norwich railway station, getting out of the City after probs gonna be a ballache though. AFAIK the Waterfront on King Street is the away fans pub entry by away footy ticket only. not sure if it still is though so best to check https://www.facebook.com/WaterfrontFootball/Compleat Angler is ok - nothing special I thought when I went there last time.
