Norwich 2-0 up tonight - re a sign of how good our defence

It seems once again a side that bar the pen ( grrr still not over that) barely laid a glove on us, are finding it easy to score once again and it not just Norwich look at how many sides we have muffled that that have shown to be free scoring elsewhere.

It does seem to suggest that we do have the beating or at least the matching of the key sides in this league...now if only we could score at the other end.

It's that balance really. Can he solve our scoring problems and keep our solidity? Probably not without signings in January I suspect

Pukki was very good for them on Saturday, his movement and guile made a massive difference for second half. They got lucky when they signed him. I’m surprised he is there.

I’m not sure we need to change to risk our solidity we just need more goals in the team. We were more open last year but weren’t prolific scorers I think it is personnel rather than systems that are lacking.

Both me and my son are not optimistic for tomorrow. We just don't score enough. Rooney is certain to score. Hope Morsey returns to give us a bit of steel in the team.

And only 3 shots on target!
How many chances would we need to create to get 3 goals
Looking to see a more attacking line up tomorrow.
I want to see attackers supporting the C F not full backs

I am a little worried for tomorrow, also. Hard to call really with Derby having just sacked their manager, teams are always unpredictable in that moment. Our inability to score is becoming a bit of a worry now. We had the old manager of the month curse also! :p

If only we could start putting the ball in the net, not just the strikers but the whole team should be chipping in more. Feels like it's been ages since there were more than one or two on the field you'd fancy to net in a game!

Even if we get to January within sight of top six still/same position, I don't trust the club to bring in the players we will want if the Summer was anything to go by! All the deals Neil aimed for early on seemed to go t1ts up last minute. The Bolasie thing sounded dodgy, whatever happened there. I hope we manage to bring in a few more though in Jan who'll help solve our scoring woes.

I think a comfortable mid-table finish is a more realistic outcome this season. I'm hoping Neil will stay on another year to build on what we've got and have us on form both ends of the pitch.

No, we need to go for it this year. I think the defensive side of the team is now sorted. Whether we play a back 4 or back 3 we are not conceding. We have played most of the top teams so it is time to be a bit more attacking. We need to replace Spence and Johnson with Assombalonga and Roberts so we have two strikers and somebody to pass the ball to them. We cannot afford to just keep getting draws now as the top 6 are starting to pull away.
