North Yorkshire Moors Railway appeal

As many of you are interested in railways and steam locos I was wondering if you could help the NYMR, I am a volunteer driver there but the survival of the railway during this difficult time is hanging in the balance, The NYMR is a charity and as yet no help is forthcoming from the government, the NYMR is obviously not running trains at the minute but still has considerable outgoings. I have put the link to the appeal on your post - the NYMR is a fantastic asset for our region - just five years before the bicentenary of the Stockton and Darlington Railway we cannot allow our own steam railway to slip away. NYMR Appeal
