Hi Sportsfans, my fan club will be pleased to know Nobby's Notebook will soon be back as we move into our third season of scouting reports, I've been going longer than Fmttm now...Incredible 
Unfortunately due to 'technical errors' I could not post Notebook reports for the last 5 games of last season as all the Interweb went down across Park End. I have however filled in the blanks for all yoose that begged me to update my listings...
My stand-out Notebook choice from last season was SORBA THOMAS who we could have probably got when he went on loan to Blackburn. He is back with a manager at Huddersfield who will surely give him the confidence to return to form. He is an assist king with an excellent set-piece delivery, something we have been sadly lacking at Boro for some time. He should remain a top target. DARA O'SHEA has gone to Burnley for 8 Million BAR, another player most people hadn't heard of when he featured in the Magic Notebook.
TAHITH CHONG has moved for big money to Luton Town, and SIRIKI DEMBELE has gone to Birmingham City, another who would have been well within our budget.
We have of course been linked with CHRIS WILLOCK at QPR and TOM CANNON from Everton, our recruitment team obvs referring to my Notebook to uncover hidden gems
VIKTOR GYOKERES my Notebook pick from season 21/22 has moved to Sporting Lisbon, we should have been in quicker before his stock rose too high. Ironically ELLIS SIMMS another Notebook entry has replaced him at the Sky Blues.
Barnsley Goalkeeper BRADLEY COLLINS has been snapped up by Coventry after an excellent season in League 1, another who should surely have been on our radar. RYAN MANNING has moved to Southampton to link up again with his ex-Swansea gaffer.
CESARE CASADEI has been linked with a transfer to Leicester while JERRY YATES has been snaffled up by Swansea, another underrated player we should have been in for at this level to solve our striking issues.
Several other 'unknowns' when I highlighted them, have been linked with massive cash moves ALEX SCOTT and BRENNAN JOHNSON are two players that fall into this category and will soon become household names.
My dark horses for this season are STOKE CITY who have made some clever signings including GK MARK TRAVERS on loan from Bournemouth and DANIEL JOHNSON from Preston, they are a developing side who looked impressive when they played at the Riverside at the back end of last season. They have a good manager in Alex Neil who knows what it takes to get out of this league...
I also hope HUDDERSFIELD TOWN do OK, they too have an experienced manager who I have a lot of time for...I can only imagine the meltdown on here if they finished above us
Finally welcome back to Pocket Rocket DUNCAN WATMORE on Saturday a big fans favourite who gave his all for our club...
