Hi Sportsfans and welcome to this week's edition of 'The Notebook' 👍

Really enjoyed the match, full of incident, with what looked like 2 sides destined for the top 6 come the end of the season. Nice to see a decent turnout from the Blades fans which made for a really good atmos. It was also unusually warm, with the temperature getting into double figures for the first time at the Riverside. I even wore shorts for the first time ever in over 25 years of visits to the Riverside. I've been informed by Erimus74 that this could be a new world record for wearing big boys trousers at consecutive home matches 👍🏆

Onto the Blades, and they have some neat footballers in midfield in Norwood and Fleck while Berge threatened to carve us open in the first 15 minutes.

However my Notebook choice this week was a defender. No. 15 Anel Ahmedhodzic

Really impressed with this lad playing on the right side of the back 3, quick, comfortable on the ball and at 6'3 effective aerially at both ends of the pitch. Made several excellent tackles and looked really assured at this level.

Ahmedhodzic is only 23 and already has 18 caps for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Born in Malmö Sweden he signed for Notts Forest and spent time in their academy before moving back to Malmö. Represented Sweden at all age groups before requesting to change his sports citizenship to Bosnia which was approved by FIFA.

He played in the Champions League against Juventus for Malmö and was also loaned out to Bordeaux last season.
Transferred to Sheff United for an undisclosed fee last month.

Looks an absolute snip, already an international player and will only get better, he's in the famous 📖✍️

PS Last seasons Blades Notebook choice Morgan Gibbs-White has returned to Wolves and was recently subject to a £25M bid by Everton, Wow 😮
Looks like it's not just the Boro recruitment team consulting the Notebook 😉

The only downside to the day was the Happy Shopper selling out of budget cider...First world problems I guess....I made my own with water, crab apples, rose petals and a bit of grass...everyone's done that at some point right ?
Thanks 👍
