Hi Sportsfans, that's 5 League wins on the trot, very impressive. I don't think I would be tinkering too much with the starting line up. Coburn desperately needs a goal but he is crucial to how we play so he keeps his place for me ๐Ÿ‘

Onto Birmingham, and previous Notebook entry No.17 Siriki Dembele showed flashes of brilliance, but didn't get much chance to strut his stuff in what was mainly a rearguard action for the blues.

No. 5. and captain Dion Sanderson had a really good game at the back, he stands out every time I watch The Blues play, he's a top quality defender and can play out from the back, the Premier League beckons for him and still only 23 ๐Ÿ‘

Goalkeeper John Ruddy also played really well and appeared to be keeping Boro out singlehandedly at times. He plucked plenty of crosses out of the air to take the pressure off and his shot stopping was superb, although most of those shots were straight at him. He's now 36 so not a player we should be signing at this stage of his career...

Nobby's Choice this time was left back No.23 Emmanuel Longelo. He certainly had his hands full up against the lively Jones, but stuck to his task well and got up and down that side showing good fitness and athleticism. One interception on Jones was outstanding as he blocked in midair and came away with the ball. Clever passing, good delivery and technically excellent he goes in the Notebook guys ๐Ÿ‘

Still only 22 Longelo came through West Ham's academy and made a loan switch to Birmingham last season before signing on a 3 1/2 year deal in the summer for 400,000 BAR

Looks a snip at that price guys ๐Ÿ‘

I wasn't there yesterday Nobby... how did cody drameh play? Right back, he fits the age profile, a Leeds player on loan. A player I've been keeping half an eye on.

He did OK Gordy but didn't catch the eye tbh, Longelo on the other side was far superior ๐Ÿ‘

Bit disappointed with only one transfer fee listed to be honest, I expected better.
I just put that in as he was my first ever Notebook Choice and went for 25 Million BAR, Incredible....a lot of transfers these days are undisclosed so unless one of my sauces is involved it's hard to know tbh ๐Ÿ‘
