FIFAs is a filthy corrupt cartel, it's time to disband it and create an alternative, with proper independent governanceFIFA integrity if it wasn`t bad before is on the floor, if CAS confirm illegality of FIFA ruling then the FIFA's role as governing body becomes untenable
ThisIf all the big countries agreed to do it then FIFA wouldn't do anything. They need the big teams to qualify (or be knocked out legitimately). There would be no interest/viewing figures if the knockouts were just between the also-rans because they had deducted points off from the real contenders.
No itās not as the only thing to replace it will be either a us consortium or the Saudis as weāve seen with Liv.FIFAs is a filthy corrupt cartel, it's time to disband it and create an alternative, with proper independent governance
There is no law of the game which could warrant a booking for wearing the wrong armband. Sanctions can be made against a team after the game but a player can't be booked. My guess is they have been told that a player wearing one will result in points being docked but that seems like a threat they wouldn't follow through on to me so all it should take is for them to call their bluff. I hope Kane and Bale do it when England play Wales. They should all come out holding hands as well.

Don't be silly, there are plenty of options. No itās not as the only thing to replace it will be either a us consortium or the Saudis as weāve seen with Liv.
Donāt pretend otherwise.
Itās a tournament rule. The captain has to wear the official armband supplied by FIFA.There is no law of the game which could warrant a booking for wearing the wrong armband.
That's always the rule around kits and equipment but there is nowhere that says that the punishment can be a yellow card. A team can be sanctioned. It's just a bluffItās a tournament rule. The captain has to wear the official armband supplied by FIFA.
If Harry Kane had a set of balls that's exactly what he would do - FIFA would be a laughing stock if they carried it out (even more so than they are now) - it would achieve an awful lotIf Harry Kane were to wear an armband that FIFA has banned, and gets booked for it each half and gets sent off, do you think that would change anything?
Harry Kane and England have come across as a right bunch of fannies. As wrighty has just said the whole world is watching so if players countries believe in the cause then do it and take the consequences.
