No injuries - we are destined for promotion

As Erimus said let's enjoy it for what it is at the minute. God knows we have had years of crap and the world is a very gloomy and frightening place because of civid. Let the Boro bring a bit of sunshine to our lives.

We’ve hardly had years of crap. 1 poor season. Previously 1 point off the play offs, play offs before that then Prem before that. Promotion season and play off final before that.

In comparison, the mackems have had years of crap.

Monk got the job because "attacking football". The phrase taking the shackles off was heard time and time again on here at the end of karankas reign. People would not have stood for Warnock. Same following the end of Pulis reign.

I've never been a huge fan of Warnock teams, but you can't deny that he's a superb manager and that he's worth a bagful of extra points a season.
Like Aitor, he's making us hard to beat first and foremost and that is a big part of the psychology of football, even more so in these times of empty stadia where the lack of a crowd means that the players have to motivate themselves.
I'd love to see us add to the creativity, but I don't think finances will allow us to do so.
Looking promising for a playoff push even though it's early days.

Not enough goals I’m afraid, we don’t have a clinical enough striker to put away easy chances to carry on grinding games out for 75 mins and going for it in the last 15 mins.

We all knew that this season would be weird in terms of the recruitment of players, and players we let go not to mention how teams manage the whole Covid routine. For me it’s a bit too early to say especially as you know we need 3-4 more players. I’m hopeful that this good start can be maintained— but the first impressions are very good.
