Nicola Sturgeon 'interrogation'

Currently watching the Holyrood Inquiry. The Chair and panel is really putting her through the mangle. They are certainly taking no prisoners or bull.... from NS.

They haven't so far. Just how they view the evidence discrepancy of whether she would intervene if necessary.
Shes trying to put up a good fight but they are very sharp at picking her up when she's evasive, especially the Chair, who should be used for interrogating ISIS members, she is so focused and frightening. I would not want to meet her in a dark alley at night. Sturgeon must be mentally exhausted by now after all this.

Margaret Mitchel on intervention..absolutely just rambling. Just couldn’t stop digging the hole she had created for herself.
Jackie Baillie in the end, after a good start yesterday, ran out of direction and reverted to tribal politics.
Sturgeon had a good teacher, Salmond himself. She’s constructed what appears to be a hard to penetrate wall of “Plausible Denial”
The whole thing’s been pretty riveting stuff though.

NS highlighted how the atmosphere would have been around Alex Salmond when he was among the women SNP members, she quoted his 'inappropriate behaviours' and I think if I remember correctly she stated others had 'voiced their concerns' to her about this. I would love to have been a fly on the wall at the time. He was of course found not guilty - against 10 women too! Certainly it is all food for thought, and like a drama playing out for the whole country to see. Politics can be a dirty business and plenty of backstabbing and subterfuge going on here.

The biggest question on everyones lips has got to be 'Does she own any other dresses apart from the red one she wore today, and seemingly in every photograph shown?

He was found not guilty of sexual assault charges with another charge 'not proven', he was never found not guilty of inappropriate behaviour. It all seems to distil down to whether a particular meeting she had with Salmond was in her capacity as leader of SNP or as FM not the quantity or colour of the dresses she might own.

Id like to think that if a politician, especially a high profile one, breaks the ministerial cose and squanders £500k the media would be screaming for their resignation vehemently every time.

But alas no such luck. Johnson and his cronies have squandered millions and lie to us incessantly and yet not a peep from our media boys.

I wonder why?

The media frenzy over the Jockanese story smacks of double standards and a ‘look over there (instead of what we are up to)’ agenda.
Not saying it shouldn’t be reported on but dear me, when are the corruption and law breaking of this government going to receive similar media scrutiny?

Yup more threads on Sturgeon in court than on Hancock in court.
Well done right wing British press. You've manipulated the people very well
