The bloke seems to walk a bit of a tightrope when it comes to his temperament, but I like the way he tries to play the game. Technically good and has better than average vision. I wouldn't mind him pulling strings in our midfield. If not him, someone like him. I also quite like the look of Hamer at Cov (reminds me a bit of Tomlin).

No idea how many of Bolasie, Kebano or Mendez-Laing will be around next season - I would be quite happy for all of them, but just feel we need that different type of threat to take us up a level. Someone to pull strings alongside Morsy and AN Other.

Any other suggestions?

We've been linked with him for years and he clearly has some talent so I wasn't against it. However it seems to be he thinks he's better than he is and he's wasted his career through his arrogant attitude.

His sending off last season against us was a disgrace and reminded me of Gaston the way he lost his head and petulantly didn't care about his team and just dived in.

I would not be happy if we were linked with him.

Decent player would like to see him at the Boro, Maybe Howsons replacement , cant see Johnny lasting a full season 21/22

Depending on where Barnsley end up I'd love Alex Mowett. He has a hand in everything they do and a Captain and takes a great setplay.

His context is up in the summer and was apparently availible for 1.5mil in Jan (although only 6 months left).

Although I did see a free transfer list the other day and he wasn't on it. So maybe penned a new deal.

A few weeks ago mind, but haven't seen anything to the contrary.

HE certainly puts himself about and will always score a few, better as a number 10 than a midfielder though. Lacks the pace to step up to be a top top player.

Hamer is OK but I prefer Callum O'Hare, another number 10 that could have a very decent career at this level, still learning though.
