Wife and I signed up for this, all sorted and went 'live' on Monday. We each been available via the app over 30 hours this week but had no alerts/jobs. Wondering what others experience is ? Slightly worried the system isn't working ?
 
Same here. I think because there are so many volunteers, there aren't enough jobs to go around. I just switch the app on and carry on as normal. Have you tried the test run? You certainly won't miss the alarm when it does go off.
 
Has it recorded how many hours you have been available/on duty? I have had it switched to on duty for 16 hours and the number of hours on duty dialogue box is still set to 0?
*update* Had it switched to on since 10am and it’s now showing the 2hours on duty.

Well done to all who have volunteered.

The wife is safeguarding in the high risk group and we have had no contact from anybody this week.

Just had an email reminding me to read all of the relevant policies before I start.
"Please note we are currently in soft launch and therefore releasing under one thousand referrals a day for the next few days - so don't worry if you don't receive any alerts."
No doubt we'll all soon be busy.

Sensible way of going about things.
Posting thousands of requests all at the same time over a new app would crash it 9 times out of 10.
